Dan Lloyd’s Brain

I’ve been an eager fMRI volunteer for decades. Here is a scanner selfie; the brain is in there somewhere. The image reflects an aspect of the technology, in that MRI machines are tuned to image different kinds of tissue (of which blood is one). The image above captures skin, mainly, generated as a curiosity on the way to a proper functional scan.
